About This Thankful Tree Coloring Page
A tree with a sturdy trunk and bare branches carries twelve big autumn leaves. The leaves are large on purpose: each one has room to write or draw something you are thankful for.
It is an easy page for kids and a favorite Thanksgiving activity for families and classrooms.
How to Use the Thankful Tree
- Talk about the things you are grateful for – family, friends, pets, food, a favorite toy.
- Write one thing inside each leaf (or draw a small picture for kids who can't write yet).
- Color the leaves in fall colors and the trunk brown.
- Hang the tree on the wall or put it on the Thanksgiving table.
Coloring Ideas
- Red, orange, yellow and olive green leaves.
- Use a light color in the leaves so your words stay easy to read.
Activity
Print one tree for every family member and read them out loud at Thanksgiving dinner. Turn the leaves into a decoration with the autumn leaf wreath.
