How to Print Coloring Pages

Printing our coloring pages takes less than a minute. Here is how to do it on any device.

On a computer

  1. Open the coloring page you like and click Download PDF.
  2. Open the PDF and press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (Mac).
  3. Choose Letter or A4 paper and select Fit to page.
  4. Click Print.

On a phone or tablet

  1. Tap Download PDF, then open the file.
  2. Tap the Share button and choose Print.
  3. Pick your printer (it must be on the same Wi-Fi) and tap Print.

Tips for the best result

  • Use thicker paper or cardstock if you color with markers, so the ink doesn't bleed through.
  • Print in black and white to save colored ink.
  • No printer? Use the Color Online button to color the page right in your browser.

Best print settings

  • Paper size: Letter (US) or A4 – our PDFs fit both.
  • Scale: “Fit to page” or 100%. Avoid “Actual size” on A4 if the edges get cut off.
  • Quality: “Standard” is enough for line art; “Draft” may make thin lines look gray.
  • Margins: keep the default margins – borderless printing can crop the drawing.

Troubleshooting

The picture is cut off

Choose Fit to page in the print dialog and check that the paper size matches the paper in your printer.

The lines look faint or gray

Switch the print quality from Draft to Standard, and check your black ink or toner level.

The website menu prints too

Use the Download PDF button instead of printing the web page – the PDF contains only the coloring page.

Printing from a school or library computer

Download the PDF to the desktop first, then open and print it. Some shared computers block printing directly from the browser.
