About This Valentine Card

A red rose with hearts and the words LOVE YOU MOM – a Valentine card for mom to color and fold. It is made for mom, but it works just as well for grandma, an aunt or a teacher.

How to Make This Card

1. Print the page on regular paper or light cardstock.
2. Color the front (the bottom half) and the word inside (the top half).
3. Fold the page in half along the dashed line, with the colored front on the outside.
4. Fold it in half again from side to side, so the front picture is the cover.
5. Open the card and write your message on the lines.

Coloring Ideas

• Red, pink and purple are the classic Valentine colors – add gold or silver gel pen for sparkle.
• Color the letters in a pattern: red, pink, red, pink.
• Glue on stickers, glitter or a paper doily to make it extra special.

Message Ideas

• "You make me smile."
• "Happy Valentine's Day to the best friend ever!"
• "Thank you for being you."
• "I'm so glad you're in my class."
