Choose your marker brand and a main color. The generator builds a color harmony and picks the closest real markers, so you can start coloring right away.
The palette generator – coming soon
We are adding the full color data with codes, names and swatches, checked against the official color charts. In the meantime you can print a blank swatch chart and test your own markers on the paper you color on.
A free tool that builds color palettes from real markers. Pick your brand, a mood and how many colors you want, and it suggests marker codes that work well together.
How do I keep a color I like?
Click the lock on a color. Locked colors stay in place every time you generate a new palette, and the swap button replaces just one color.
Can I build a palette around a marker I own?
Yes. Type its code in “Build around a marker” and the palette is built from that color.
What are highlights and shadows?
For every color the generator finds a lighter and a darker marker of the same hue, so you can blend from light to dark for a more 3D look.
Why do the colors look different on paper?
Screens and markers show color differently, and paper and layering change marker colors too. Always test on a swatch chart first.
Which harmony should I pick?
Analogous colors sit next to each other on the color wheel – calm and natural, great for landscapes and cozy scenes.
Complementary pairs opposite colors for strong contrast – perfect to make a character stand out.
Triadic uses three evenly spaced colors – bright and playful, ideal for kids’ pages.
Monochrome uses one color from light to dark – simple and elegant, and good blending practice.
