Coloring with markers made easy

Found a coloring page tutorial that uses Copic codes, but you own Ohuhu? Bought a new set and want to know which colors you already have? Our marker tools answer exactly these questions: the conversion charts show the closest marker in another brand for every color, the marker lists show every color of a brand with its code and name, and the palette generator suggests color combinations made only from real markers.

Before a big project, print a swatch chart on the paper you color on and fill in each marker – it is the most reliable way to see your real colors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which markers are best for coloring pages?

Alcohol markers such as Copic, Ohuhu and OLO blend smoothly and are popular for adult coloring. Water-based markers like Crayola are cheaper and great for kids. Whatever you use, print on thicker paper – see our paper guide.

How are the marker matches calculated?

We compare the colors with the CIEDE2000 formula, the color science standard for how different two colors look to the human eye. 90% or more is hard to tell apart on paper.

Why does my marker look different from the screen?

Screens show light, markers show ink on paper. Paper type, layering and the marker’s age all change the result, so always test on a swatch chart.

Are these tools free?

Yes, all marker tools are free and work in the browser without an account.
