Little Turtle Coloring Page

About This Turtle Coloring Page

A smiling little turtle walks across the grass. Its round shell is covered with a pattern of shell plates, and it has a friendly face, little feet and a short tail. The sun shines in the sky and small pebbles lie on the ground.

The shell plates are like puzzle pieces – each one can get its own color. That makes this a fun easy page for preschool and kindergarten. More animals are waiting in our cute animal coloring pages.

Coloring Ideas

• Green shell with light green plates and a yellow-green head.
• Rainbow shell: a different color for every plate.

Did You Know?

A turtle can't leave its shell – the shell is part of its skeleton and grows with the turtle.
